The AudioQuest Pegasus XLR is a highly regarded, reference-grade analog interconnect cable. It bridges the gap between premium performance and accessible design, featuring advanced audiophile technologies like ZERO-Tech, Direction-Controlled PSC+ copper conductors, and a Dual 72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) system to deliver transparent, highly detailed, and noise-free signal transfer. The AudioQuest Pegasus XLR cable comes equipped with premium, custom-made Hanging-Silver over extreme-purity Red Copper plugs. Features and Technologies: a) ZERO-Tech: Eliminates characteristic-impedance mismatch, creating linear RF (radio frequency) noise dissipation and ensuring zero compression in dynamics. b) Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+): The conductors are direction-controlled to minimize strand-interaction and reduce harshness caused by metal grain boundaries. c) Dual 72v Dielectric-Bias System (DBS): Creates a constant electrostatic field to saturate the insulation, reducing dielectric noise and enhancing high-frequency detail. d) Carbon/Graphene Mesh: Alternate layers of synthetics and metal act as a shield to minimize Radio Frequency (RF) interference before it reaches the ground plane. e) Noise-Dissipation & Silver Plating: Includes a carbon/graphene mesh network and 6% silver-plated RF drain wires to expertly shield against Wi-Fi, cellular, and stray RF signals.
