Antipodes K22 G4 Music Streamer/Server. “The K22 includes just the Player and Reclocker engines from the K50, to play to the USB, S/PDIF, AES3 or I2S inputs on a customer’s DAC. The K22 can also run Server apps, but is only medium-powered so is not suitable for very large libraries (>8TB) or heavy DSP functions. The K22 can have one SSD added by the customer (up to 8TB). The customer can upgrade later by adding a K41, improving Server app responsiveness and significantly enhancing sound quality.” As part of the G4 update, the K22 is now fitted with proprietary Antipodes isolation footers, which were derived from the Oladra’s constrained-layer footers. The update also includes incorporating the Oladra’s triple-cascade power supply technology, an update to the Player engine, and the installation of a new USB output. as with all KALA models, the K22 is designed to be upgradable when Antipodes release improvements to the model. the KALA 22 excels in dynamics, natural timbre and immersive musical expression.

Slide-in user installable storage – 1 Bay 2,5” SATA SSD up to 8TB. Remark: This unit does not come with one SSD added by the user.
