The McCormack MAP-1 is a six-channel analog preamplifier. A Proprietary Ambiance Retrieval Mode (ARM) can be enabled to generate a center channel output and to extract ambient information for the rear channels when provided with a two-channel source. Specifications: Multi-channel Line Stage: Gain: 31.5 dB. Hum and Noise: 100 dB below 2.5 volts out. THD and IMD: less than .1% at 1 volt out. Optional Phono Stage: Gain: 40 dB or 54 dB selected by jumpers. Hum and Noise: 80 dB relative to 10mv in. Inputs: Two sets of 5.1 analog source connections (RCA), Three pairs of stereo line-level inputs (RCA – CD, Aux 1 and Aux 2), One pair of tape outputs. |
