DESCRIPTION
Line only preamplifier designed to be combined with 838 phono dedicated preamplifier. It is a dual monaural design including the transformer in the external power supply box, and there is no inter-modulation between each channel. In addition, by providing a stable output stage with ultra-low impedance, high-quality signals are secured even when connected to a power amplifier through a long cable. The gain level can be switched so that the power amplifier can be fully driven even with low output signals. The CD-only input stage allows you to adjust the sensitivity in three levels according to your preference. Tape dubbing by 2-way signal monitoring is possible. Specifications: (4) Outputs: 1 x Balanced (XLR – 4 PINS), 3 x single–ended (RCA: Main, Tape 1 and Tape 2), 5 x Single-ended inputs: Aux, CD, Tuner, Tape 1 and Tape 2. Input sensitivity (1 V output) (Gain 1 / Gain 5): Tuner, Tape1/2 - 740mV/2.6dB / 150mV/16.5dB; CD(Hi) - 740mV/2.6dB / 96mV/20.4dB; CD(Lo) - 700mV / 700mV; Aux - 150mV/16.5dB / 150mV/16.5dB. Input impedance: Tuner, CD (Hi), Tape1/2, Aux : 20k O; CD (Lo) : 1k O. Output Level / Impedance (RMS): RCA : 8.9V/0.28 O, XLR : 18.3V/0.28 O, Tape1/2 : 3.0V/470 O.
