Reduced in December 2023. The E-480 integrated stereo amplifier was the top Class AB integrated amplifier in the line-up. Preamplifier section features the latest implementation of AAVA volume control for further enhanced clarity. Instrumentation amplifier principle in power amplification stage allows fully balanced signal transmission and realizes top-notch S/N ratio. Balanced Remote Sensing enables low impedance of output circuitry, resulting in a damping factor of 600. Power amplification stage uses power MOS-FETs in triple parallel push-pull configuration as well as MCS+ topology and current feedback. Strong power supply with a massive high-efficiency toroidal transformer and two large 40000µF specially-made filtering capacitors. Protection circuitry using MOS-FET switches. An amplifier that delivers music with a warm yet powerful presentation and almost sounds like a tube amp with solid-state control and power.

Input sensitivity (for rated output): 190mV (High level input/Balanced input) and 1.51V (Main In Line/Main In Balanced). Input Impedance: 20/40KOhm (High level input/Balanced input) and 20/40KOhm (Main In Line/Main In Balanced). Output Voltage and Impedance: PRE OUTPUT 1.51 V 50 ohms (at rated continuous average output). Output Load Impedance: 4 to16 ohms.
