Reduced in August 2022. Was: €950. A notable feature of this product is the MD2 multi-DAC converter topology. In the Leema Antila I, this topology uses twenty (ten stereo) 24bit/192KHz digital-to-analogue converters in a parallel-multiple balanced configuration. The Antila uses a Philips VAM transport. The net result is a CD player with analogue-like mid-band and high frequencies having great space and depth without the usual harshness associated with digital recording formats. As with the rest of Leema's electronics, the Antila includes something called LIPS (Leema Intelligent Protocol System), which acts like a sophisticated bus system that allows connected Leema components to operate with the simplicity of an all-in-one 'stereo'. Specifications: (2) Audio Outputs: 1 x Balanced (XLR) and 1 x Unbalanced (RCA). (2) Digital Outputs: 1 x S/PDIF (coaxial) and 1 x Optical (Toslink). Signal to Noise ratio (A weighted): 107dB; Output Level: 2.3VRMS for 0dBFS; Jitter 1KHz: 40pS. Remarks: a) No original packaging; b) Some signs of cosmetic wear. Used but cared for.
